The challenge

The numbers exist, in six places, in three formats, with two definitions of the same metric.

Meetings start with an argument about whose figure is right, and the decision waits.

How we approach it

A1

Agree definitions first

In writing, before a single pipeline is built.

A2

Build to those definitions

One calculation, in one place, used everywhere.

A3

One view per decision

Not one view per data source.

A4

Publish lineage

Any figure can be traced back to its source record.

How delivery runs

The same four phases, whatever we are building.

  1. 012–3 weeks

    Discovery

We map your current process, users and constraints, then define scope in writing.

  2. 022–4 weeks

    Design

Interface and data design, reviewed with the people who will use the system daily.

  3. 036 weeks+

    Build

Delivery in two-week increments, each one testable, with progress visible throughout.

  4. 04Ongoing

    Launch & support

Deployment, training and documentation, then optional support at a level you choose.

What you get

Definitions
A metric dictionary agreed and signed off by you.
Pipelines
Scheduled ingestion from each of your sources.
Quality
Automated checks that flag bad data before it reaches a chart.
Dashboards
Views by role, readable without training.
Exports
Scheduled reports in the formats you already circulate.
Lineage
Documentation tracing every figure to its origin.

What changes

One definition

Per metric, agreed before it is measured.

Traceable

Every number can be followed back to source.

Decision-shaped

Views built around the choice being made.

Self-generating

Reports produce themselves on schedule.

Questions

About this work specifically.

General questions about scope, ownership and timelines are answered on the resources page.

Databases, spreadsheets, accounting systems, and most tools with an API. Where a system has no API we build an integration layer around it, including scheduled file exports where that is genuinely the only route.

You do, and we insist on it being written down before we build. Most dashboard disputes are definition disputes wearing a technical costume.

Tell us what you need built.

We reply within two working days with honest scope and next steps — including when we are not the right fit.
